Xbox no longer (a)Live

April 14th 2010 11:27

The original Xbox’s Live service: which allowed many people to feel the love and frustrations in their games online since 2002, will be disconnected tomorrow, FOREVER.

However the Live network for the 360 will be staying.

Kotaku has honoured the death of the function for games on the original Xbox, mentioning popular titles like the Halo series and Battlefront 2.

Currently, the Xbox Live service requires a monthly fee to play multiplayer games, while the PS3 offers their online services for free…. For now.
