Tomb Raider becoming a Fantasy?

Square Enix and the board of Eidos agreed on a Final Fantasy take over for 129% more than market value!
Kotaku reported the $US120,000 acquisition hasn’t been finalised as 75% of Eidos shareholders have to agree to the merger possibly next month.
This sounds as big as Squares acquisition of Enix in 2003.
If acquired, this could mean reviving of older titles under the publisher, like the Legacy of Kain series that was a great game near the end of the PSone era. Deus Ex, a FPS that turned heads for its open-ended gameplay on the PC. Fear Effect, the sexy answer to Resident Evil’s dominance during the PSone days.
Lets not forget the Thief series, everyone who has played this game would love a 3rd, official, sequel of this classic series! Oh the possibilities of playing modernised versions of great series of the past! *drool*.
