Two special editions have been revealed for Gran Turismo 5’s release in Europe on November 2, 2010.
Possibly the most expensive special package this year, the Signature Edition costs $299.95!
Included are:
1. A Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG 1:43 scale model car
2. A leather black wallet with the Gran Turismo logo engrained.
4. A coffee table book featuring the cars and locations in the game
5. A USB key with a trailer of Mercedes-Benz and Polyphony teaming up to get the SLS AMG into the game.
6. A 200 page Apex driver’s magazine with hints on driving techniques, car tuning and future technologies.
7. Six additional cars known collectively as the Stealth Vehicle pack and five ‘ChromeLine’ Collector’s Edition cars and exclusive dynamic theme.
8. A card to enter into a competition involving in-game challenges and the AMG Signature Edition driving school to win a real Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG supercar worth $254,824 AUS.
9. All comes packaged in a metal sculpted box finished in SLS AMG Obsidian Black.
The $129.95 Collector’s Edition includes:
1. Inlay sleeve art.
3. Five art cards
4. The “ChromeLine’ vehicle pack
5. And the dynamic theme for your media bar.
The standard Edition is going for $119.95, but knowing how JB-HIFI notoriously drops all their prices from the Recommended Retail Price, you may find it for $100.
