StarCraft 2 Part 2 Update

IGN has reported small but important details for the second game in the StarCraft 2 trilogy, Heart of the Swarm, divulged during a Q&A at BlizzCon 2010.

First off, the sequel will be set between 1 hour and 100 years after the ending of the Wings of Liberty campaign. And the second is its release date scheduled around the 2012 season.


And for StarCraft 2 players who have completed the Campaign… Blizzard hasn’t forgotten Samir Duran.

Sad face for everyone hoping the second chapter will be coming next year, but it isn’t as bad as some other expansions. *Cough* HALF LIFE 2 EPISODE 3 *cough* Ahem… more news to come.
