Square Ediosnix and Just Announced

March 28th 2009 12:48

85% of votes from Eidos share holders came back with Square-Enix's takeover approval.

They needed 75% for the green light to be lit, and now it seems like a re-invigoration into old series owned by Eidos could be a real possibility after all!

According to GamesIndustry, the Square Ediosnix merge will be completed late April.

Disclaimer: The name: Square Ediosnix is not Square Enix changing its name after the merger, I just made it up.

Sony Europe announced the conclusion to the Ratchet and Clank series: A Crack in Time.

What made this platforming series successful was its feature of upgradable weapons with very satisfying bullets (lazers, or robots) of destruction that get better after each upgrade.

This chapter might see the split between Ratchet and Clank for good, as their origins open up in this 7th console installment late this year.

Max Payne 3 is also coming out (hopefully) around December this year!

Retired, will we see a Old-Snake kind of story? Or will we still have the same Noir-style game the movie should have been like? Can't wait to get more news on this one!
