Sony talks back at bogus 'official' source

'Official' release dates of Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and Home is revealed to be untrue.

Kotaku.com had posted dates for PS3 games that had not been confirmed by Sony themselves, who spoke with gamesindustry.biz.

"I don't know where Kotaku have taken them from or why they're claiming 'SCEE have clarified dates' as we haven't sent them anything, and neither have our Central office." Said a Sony UK spokesperson.


Kotaku quickly replied with an update of the article, labelling it as a rumor, and traced the original source to a ‘famous’ message board called NeoGaF.

Coming back to the Tokyo Game Show, Sony said they will be making official PS3 announcements at the convention.
