Nintendo touring Australia once again
September 6th 2007 11:33
Japan has its multi-franchise convention in September while we have our… Nintendo’s shopping center tour. But we get to taste Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass without having to buy a plane ticket!
Held from September 22 to October 13, the tour will span across Australia showing parents and families that consoles are all about having fun and aren’t just controversial, particularly Nintendo’s brand which doesn’t endorse a 18 rating, with Wii’s Big Brain Academy as the main showcase.
Other Wii games on the Tour include Super Paper Mario (still waiting impatiently for release), Wii Sports and Boogie, while the DS section will have Brain Training, More Brain Training and Picross.
Compared with a similar tour last year promoting the release of the Wii with playable demo’s of Zelda, Wii Sports and Wii play in shopping centers everywhere, this tour will be much larger with games including the upcoming DS range, hunch the possible reason for the limited release in the five states.
Well looking forward to it since there are chances to win prizes, always a positive in the gamer verdicts book.
