Monster Madness soon on the PS3

September 14th 2007 11:11

Monster Madness EX has been announced for the PS3, but may not be worth it.

The publisher’s, SouthPeak Games, think differently.

“The top down camera combined with the co-op and online multiplayer make it the perfect title for the PlayStation 3 system.” said spokeswoman Melanie Mroz

IGN has called the previous game as “lackluster”, which, to me, makes this game less appealing.

The title seems to be a port of the 360 and PC version, which promises better graphics, camera and controls. The game will have options from its previous incarnation including a massive selection of weaponry to slay enemies with.

All opinions aside, this is a party game, and party games are, in most cases, fun. This can be due to players overlooking the games flaws while playing with others who are under the same conditions... But that’s a different matter.

MM EX is a little late to the party since it has been announced for the 360 and PC two years ago… Well, we have to wait and see if there might still be surprises in store.
