May the force... Get ready!

Attention video game and Star Wars fans! Soul Calibur 4 will feature Darth Vader (PS3) and Yoda (360) as playable characters!
The force (sources) is too strong to be a rumour! As Videogame news site, 1up, has posted awesome screenshots and Namco Bandai’s press release on their website a couple of days ago; confirming this exciting news.
“Adding our iconic Star Wars characters to NAMCO BANDAI’s great game franchise is a match made in heaven” Marketing honcho at LucasArts, Kevin Kurtz said in the press release.
Namco Bandai Games America’s vice president, Makoto Iwai, also unleashes his excitement on the confirmation with LucasArts.
“We’re thrilled to integrate their historic characters into one of our most treasured brands.”
The sword/light saber orientated fighting game is one of the three giants in the 3D fighting genre, next to the Tekken and Virtua Fighter series.
The Soul Calibur series is no stranger to secret characters from other franchises, like Tekken’s Heihachi whipping the Soul Calibur with his fists in the second game on the PS2.
Game developer, Project Soul, are implementing a new battle system in the game, which (according to Namco Bandai) promises to “reinvent the brand and reintroduce the fighting genre to new and existing gans alike.”
Oh, and the obligatory online play will be a must with the custom characters you can create too. PLUS, according to gaming news site, Kotaku, Ubisoft will be handling the PAL conversion of the game. This should be enough for Soul Calibur fans to bite into… Well that and the game ready for release.
