If only Aussie MGS fans can turn Japanese

It's Metal Gear National Online.

According to gaming site Kombo, Metal Gear Online Premiere beta players in Japan are the only gamers in the world who can play Snake on the Web!

This news comes as the promise of a world-wide release of the beta is now seemingly demised.


Too bad for us gamers of Sony Europe... AGAIN! Well don't fret fellow Aussies, we are not the only continent denied from Old Snake action: America too!

However Metal Gear Online will be up for some espionage action once Konami get the servers in Japan stabilised. PLUS we will get an extra five days to play for free: closing beta play on May 11 instead of May 6.

A press release from Konami said they will be updating the status of the Beta tonight at 11pm.

Update: April 25 is D-day for Europe and America beta players, Konami announced.
