Big EB sale Entices Voluntary Wallet Plundering

Christmas has come early again for gamers who have avoided spending their hard-earned cash on Red Dead Redemption or Alan Wake this month.
Australian Electronics Boutique stores, more commonly referred to as EB games, are having a massive sale, which is offering the biggest deals for video games throughout the store, most notably 4th quarter 2009 games for half price.
This, too me, is the biggest video game sale of this year.
The most notable games on sale for half price are Borderlands, Mass Effect 2, Uncharted 2 and Assassin Creed 2.
The biggest reduction of a game this year has to be the White/Collector’s Edition for Assassin Creed 2 for $50. The large box includes a 20 cm still figure of the main character posing just like on the cover box.
Borderlands is a RPG FPS game with the looting element from Diablo 2 (enemies constantly dropping unique weapons) and a strong emphasis on online co-op. It also has a strong catalogue of downloadable content with three expansion packs already released.
Uncharted 2 is a 3rd person action adventure game either recognised as the best exclusive game on PS3, or is in the top 5 of every game journalist’s list for 2009.
Assassin Creed 2 is a 3rd person sandbox game that is as acclaimed as Uncharted 2. Keep an eye for this game’s White Edition for $50!
