3DS specs leaked?

The insides of Nintendo’s next generation portable has been revealed to IGN from a secret source.

The 3DS’s RAM, CPU and internal flash storage would be four times more than the DSi’s if these specs are confirmed by Nintendo.


This means the PSP would have nothing on Nintendo’s latest handheld due for a possible early 2010 release.


The 3DS is a total beast anyway if it can run a perfect port of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Expect a 2011 release in Aus.

Spec’s rundown below

3DS
2x266MHz Arm11 CPUs
64MB RAM
1.5GB flash storage

DSi’ specs:

133 MHz ARM processor
16MB RAM
256 MB Internal Flash memory

PSP specs

PSP CPU clock around 333MHz
Embedded DRAM: 4MB
62MB of internal memory (for PSP Slim)
