Jumping is an integral part of adventure games, without it; we would not have the platform genre. How would we feel if we couldn't jump over the first goomba in Super Mario Bros? It would be impossible to get past the first screen!

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Revealed

Capcom’s Street Fighter 4 had successfully brought back 2D fighting into the 3rd dimension. Soon Capcom will release its multi-tag fighting game Marvel vs Capcom 3. Now Namco is bringing back the tag mechanic in the form of Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

Gaming First Impressions, the Good and Bad

It takes skill to make an immersive, interesting story for a video game. But if the person writing the story doesn’t know about video games, then the story will surely fail. Knowing the game mechanics and limitations of the hardware, and who the game is catered to are essential in writing up a story which is immersive and fun for the person playing it. I’m going to cut through most of my library of games to see which games give the best and worst first impressions in the gaming spectrum.

I apologise for the long break. I've been binge gaming on Modern Warfare 2 and Persona 4. And imagine playing several sessions of the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops in my head.
