Yes, like everything else is a waste of time.
But it is a trick question because the quality of time depends on the motivations of each of us. Like saying going to work, playing sports and watching Lost is a waste of time. Of course work isn’t considered a waste because it’s bringing food to the table. Playing sports help the body improve itself and is a great way to socialise with other people. The quality of watching Lost is like watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy back to back to back: you’re investing a significant amount of time into both for the pure enjoyment of the story to escape from the stress that is reality
